Susie Helland Bio: Susie enjoyed sports in her younger years and never had problems with her weight until she was in her early 20's, living on her own and working 3 jobs and eating on the go. Her weight slowly started creeping up and suddenly she was something that she never thought she would be...overweight.

Not really knowing much about nutrition at that age, she thought if she just starved herself, she would lose weight again, but that just created a whole new set of problems. Starving and then bingeing became her reality for a few years. She married at 26 and had a daughter at 27 and lost her husband at 31, which in turn, caused her to turn back to food for comfort and she ended up being her heaviest ever. Becoming desperate, she tried every fad diet out there, always losing weight, and then gaining it back once the diet was done.

At 35, Susie remarried and that's when she got back into fitness and caring about herself again. Her husband is a running coach with Mind Body and Sole Running so he got her into running and she hasn't looked back since.

At 39, Susie gave birth to her 2nd child, and is working even harder to get into shape. She enjoys working out every day with her trainer, running 3 days a week and watching what she eats.

Susie has been working on her own health and wellness for the past 5+ years, and after seeing a positive change happen in herself, came to realize that helping other people achieve their health and wellness goals was something that she was really interested in.

Susie is motivated and because of her struggles with weight, she is sympathetic to other people's weaknesses and can relate to their issues which help to motivate them even more.
